It’s been a few weeks since i posted on here. I have spent the last week in a rage watching the bodycount in Gaza rise. 86 children dead so far. I begin to lose my faith in humanity…oh wait i never had faith in humanity. We seem destined to fuck each other over en masse ad infinitum. The former oppressed become the oppressor, the story repeats and will continue long after you and i are dust. Swap hats and swap the bloodied baton. We are a fucking virus.
The bullshit being spouted in the mainstream “media” makes me choke with bitter bile. The drivel, Fox news, is there really an audience that gullible and stupid enough to swallow the sugared pap they serve up?
Somebody stick a fork in the UN it’s done.

It has been well established that people are morons and will believe whatever crap is spoon fed to them from the television. The people to watch Fox News don’t really go there to be “enlightened” they watch to have their views reinforced. There is a huge push to stifle any non pro-Israeli analysis in the media. Everyone takes the stance that if you criticize them you are anti-semetic, if you try to take the side of the Palestinians then you are a terrorist lover. Way too many people are intellectually lazy and eager to jump on the everything is black and white bandwagon instead of acknowledging that this conflict is a happening for a myriad of reasons. Very few people I have talked to seem to understand this is a nuanced issue. As for the UN, it is a great concept but worthless in the execution of its objectives. Humanitarian aid is about all it is good for and it isn’t very good at that either.
I think the biggest problem of all is that both these cultures have a deeply rooted attachment to the past which results in simmering hatred for one another over centuries. This is the current incarnation of an ancient blood feud with each subsequent generation being indoctrinated into a battle that isn’t really theirs to fight. Old wounds getting their scabs picked off on a regular basis, not allowing for healing. The people once again suffer for the actions of a few ignorant zealots.
