100 cameras.

I am in awe of these people, Israeli’s documenting abuse and fighting for human rights in the Palestinian occupied territories. That takes guts. Immense strength to stand against your own very powerful state and public opinion. Refuseniks in the army…that takes bravery beyond imagining.

This was in the guardian this morning, It is one of many B’Tselem videos on you tube. They started a campaign called 100 cameras where they passed out digital cameras to Palestinians to document the abuse and humiliation. Official complaints were always ignored.

My sister sister traveled to the occupied territories as part of an aid agency and brought me back a load of B’tselem videos from this project.

I was speaking to a writer the other day about how people are being labeled anti semitic if they speak out against Israel’s illegal occupation and apartheid wall. This is insanity. It is like saying an ethical vegetarian hates cattle or sheep because they are part of the meat industry. It makes no sense at all.

I am hoping to take a trip over to Palestine and Israel next year so i can see for myself first hand.
