Fair play!

I woke up the other morning to find out Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova won an oscar for best song from the film once.  It is so good to see some Indie artists do good and get the reward they deserve. For those of you who don’t know them you can check out swell season or Glen’s band the frames. I haven’t actually seen the movie once yet, but i will soon as it has a lot of the whelan’s mafia in it. (term for everyone who hangs out in Whelan’s on wexford st in dublin).I am back in the studio today putting down some electric guitar.Last night i went to see Colm O’ Snodaigh from Kila launch his album and it was fucking great.  Maith thu a chara.

I go to Graham Linehan’s blog.

He co wrote Father Ted and Black books, the blog is full of links to tears of laughter.

These two cracked me up. For the second you have to be a fan of Spongebob.

(oh by the way the album is coming on great, the limitations imposed by a zero budget are working to my advantage- i will post about it soon. I know i should be recording right now but the landlord is here trying to figure out why water is streaming into my bedsit flat from the ceiling above. Nothing seems strange anymore…this place is a living organism in its last days of life.)
