L’Olympia Paris
It was great to play here, lots of history obviously and the crowd were great again. I had a strange show, one song would be great and then the next ok. My voice was good. I fucked up apple tree and improvised an ending. The night was recorded by Patrice (Aaron’s engineer) and i might use a version of wind that shakes the barley which I love to sing but never works in the studio only live. Some songs are like that. I will listen to it today and decide.
I decided afterwards as i walked off stage that i want to work with a guitarist / pianist so i can enjoy myself more singing and lose myself in it. And so the search begins…
Thanks to all the Aaron crew for helping during the show with lights and monitors and sound. You are all great.
And thanks you to the crowd for the welcome…as promised here is the video from the stage.
